Overview

Welding Fixtures built to your application

A welding fixture is a measuring instrument that happens to hold parts. If the locators sit on the drawing datums and the clamping sequence fights distortion in the right order, the welded assembly measures right the first time and keeps measuring right after 50,000 cycles.

We design from your part drawing and weld sequence, use hardened replaceable locators so the fixture can be re-certified instead of scrapped, and prove it with trial parts before it ships.

Variants

Types of welding fixtures we build

Manual weld fixture

Toggle clamps for low and medium volumes and prototype builds.

Pneumatic weld fixture

Sequenced power clamping with consistent clamp force and cycle time.

Robotic weld fixture

Designed for torch access, sensing and fast changeover in a robot cell.

Heavy fabrication fixture

Large weldments with hydraulic clamping and positioners.

FAQ

Welding Fixtures: common questions

How do you stop weld distortion?

Through clamp placement, backing and a weld sequence planned with the fixture — not after it. Where distortion is unavoidable we build in pre-set compensation and prove it on trial parts.

Can you make fixtures for our existing robot cell?

Yes. We design to the robot's reach and torch access, integrate clamp-confirm signals and match your cell interface.

What happens when locators wear?

Locators are replaceable and documented in a locator schedule, so your team can restore the fixture to its original condition and re-certify it.
