Capabilities
What Mecwerx can engineer, build, automate and commission
Four disciplines and twenty-eight named capabilities under one contract — so a production system is designed, made, proven and installed by the same accountable team, instead of being assembled from separate orders.

Discipline 01
Engineering
Everything that decides whether a production system works is settled here: the flow, the takt, the station content, the machine concept and the fixture datums. We freeze it on paper, review it with your team, and only then cut steel.
7 capabilities · each available on its own or inside a turnkey contract
Mechanical Design
Machines, fixtures, conveyors, structures and guarding designed for the duty they will actually see.
3D CAD
Every machine, fixture and line modelled in 3D before fabrication starts.
Plant Layout
Block, equipment and utility layouts that make the material flow obvious.
Process Engineering
Turning a part drawing into a process that holds the characteristic that matters.
Line Balancing
Station content set against takt, not against guesswork.
Fixture Design
Welding, assembly and checking fixtures designed from your datums.
Machine Design
Special purpose machines designed around one operation and one result.
Discipline 02
Manufacturing
The build stage converts a frozen design into a machine that runs. Structures are fabricated, tooling is machined and hardened, panels are built and wired, pneumatics are piped, and the whole system is assembled and run before it is allowed near your plant.
7 capabilities · each available on its own or inside a turnkey contract
Fabrication
Frames, bases, tables, guarding, hoppers, chutes and conveyor structures.
Machining
Tooling plates, locators, nests, bushes, shafts and precision components.
Assembly
Mechanical assembly of machines, stations, conveyors and workstations.
Electrical Panels
Control panels designed and built to the schematic and your plant standard.
Controls Wiring & Field Cabling
Field wiring that a maintenance team can follow at 2 a.m.
Pneumatics & Hydraulics
Air preparation, valving and actuation sized for the cycle, not just for the stroke.
Integration
Bringing mechanical, electrical, controls, robots and instruments into one system.
Discipline 03
Automation
Automation earns its place when it removes variation, proves quality or removes a real cost — not when it adds a screen. We build it on the platform your plant already supports, and we hand over the programs so you are never locked to us.
7 capabilities · each available on its own or inside a turnkey contract
PLC
Machine and line logic on the platform your plant standardises on.
HMI
Operator screens built for the person on the shift, not for the demo.
Robotics
Robot and cobot cells for welding, handling, palletising and dispensing.
Vision
Inspection and guidance where a sensor cannot see enough.
Sensors
The sensing that turns a movement into a proven operation.
Traceability
A record that a specific part passed a specific operation.
Safety Systems
Guarding and safety circuits designed from a risk assessment, not added afterwards.
Discipline 04
Project Execution
Equipment delivered is not output achieved. This discipline covers everything between a machine leaving the build floor and your line holding its target rate with your operators running it.
7 capabilities · each available on its own or inside a turnkey contract
Site Survey
Measuring what is actually there before the equipment is made to fit it.
Installation
Rigging, erection, alignment and hook-up on your floor.
Commissioning
Bringing the system to life, safely and in the right order.
FAT
Factory acceptance — the machine proves itself before it ships.
SAT
Site acceptance — the same proof, on your floor, in your conditions.
Ramp-up
Staying until the rate is stable, not until the machine turns on.
Training
Operators and maintenance trained on the delivered system, not on a generic manual.

Tools & platforms
What we design and build with
We stay make-agnostic and work to your plant standard, so your maintenance team can support the system after handover.
Design
3D CAD for machines and fixtures, AutoCAD for layouts and schematics, structural checks where loads demand it
Controls
Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, Delta, Omron PLC/HMI platforms; servo and VFD drives
Automation
Industrial robots and cobots (make-agnostic), vision systems, RFID and barcode traceability
Pneumatics & sensing
Festo, SMC, Janatics; Keyence, SICK, IFM, Omron sensing and measurement
Testing
Leak testers, load cells, torque transducers, displacement sensors, data logging to CSV/SQL/MES
Communication
Profinet, EtherNet/IP, Modbus, OPC UA for machine-to-system data
Standards
What we design around
- Machine safety risk assessment on ISO 12100 principles, with guarding and safety circuits designed from it
- Documentation packs that support IATF 16949-driven customer audits
- Error-proofing (poka-yoke) and verification designed at the station, not added later
- Traceability of critical characteristics — torque, force, leak rate, test results
- Dimensional verification of fixtures and first-off parts, with CMM reports on request
- Electrical work to applicable IS/IEC practice with tested earthing and interlocks
Coverage
Where we execute
Engineering and build are managed centrally from Greater Noida (NCR). Site teams mobilise for installation, commissioning and ramp-up anywhere in India.
How we execute
Six stages, six gates
Study, engineer, build, install, commission, stabilise — each closed by a gate you sign off, with FAT before dispatch and SAT on your site.
FAQ
Capabilities: common questions
Do you manufacture in-house or subcontract?
Mecwerx takes single-point responsibility for every project: we engineer, build, inspect, prove, install and commission under one contract, and we are the only party accountable to you for the result, the schedule and the warranty.
Which design and control platforms do you work with?
We design in standard 3D CAD and work with the control platforms your plant standardises on — Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, Delta or Omron — plus the pneumatic, sensor and robot makes on your approved list.
Can you work to our corporate engineering standards?
Yes. Customer standards for makes, safety, documentation formats, labelling and colour codes are applied from the design stage and checked at FAT.
Can we buy one discipline without the rest?
Yes. A layout study, a fixture design pack, a PLC retrofit or an installation-only scope are all taken as standalone assignments. The disciplines are combined when you want one contract for the whole system.
What is the largest scope you take on?
Scopes range from a single fixture or machine to a complete plant with multiple lines, utilities coordination, installation and ramp-up. For larger programmes we phase engineering, build and installation so capital and risk stay controlled.
