Heavy parts need a different kind of engineering

In heavy engineering, the product itself is the hardest thing to handle. Chassis, booms, arms and frames weigh hundreds of kilos to several tonnes, distort during welding and are dangerous to move without the right equipment.

We engineer fixtures that control distortion on large weldments, positioners and manipulators that bring the weld to the welder, and assembly lines with slat or floor conveyors and lifting aids that move heavy assemblies safely through each station.

The goal is the same as in any plant — repeatable dimensions, balanced flow and stable output — with structures, drives and safety sized for heavy duty.
