Overview

Riveting Machines built to your application

Manual riveting varies with the operator, the hammer and the hour of the shift. A riveting station replaces that variation with a controlled forming process: fixed tool path, controlled force, and a measured rivet height that tells you the joint is right.

Orbital and radial riveting form the head gradually with low axial force, which suits thin material and delicate assemblies; impact riveting is faster where the component can take it.

FAQ

Riveting Machines: common questions

Orbital or radial riveting — which is right?

Orbital gives a smoother finish with lower axial force and suits thin or brittle parts; radial forms faster and suits medium-duty joints. We trial both on your part when the choice is not obvious.

Can rivet height be measured automatically?

Yes. A displacement sensor measures the final head height each cycle, and the result is compared with a window before the part is released.

Can one machine handle several rivet positions?

Yes — with an index table, a gantry or multi-spindle heads, depending on cycle time and part geometry.
