Overview

Built for launch dates and PPAP, not just for drawings

Automotive suppliers work to fixed start-of-production dates, customer-specific quality requirements and constant cost pressure. Equipment that arrives late, or cannot demonstrate capability, puts a supplier's business with the OEM at risk.

Mecwerx designs and builds production equipment for automotive programmes with those realities built in: schedules planned backwards from SOP, error-proofing and traceability designed to your customer's expectations, and trial runs that generate the data you need for PPAP and run-at-rate.

We work with OEM plants and with Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers across the NCR automotive belt — Greater Noida, Gurugram-Manesar, Faridabad and Bawal-Neemrana — and in other clusters across India.

Challenges we solve

Problems automotive suppliers bring to us

New part, fixed SOP date

A new programme is awarded with a tight launch. Equipment must be designed, built and proven in time to support PPAP.

Dimensional rejections from the weld shop

Parts drift out of tolerance because fixtures do not control the right datums, or locators have worn.

Customer demands traceability

The OEM now requires part-level torque, leak or press data that current equipment cannot record.

Capacity increase on an existing line

Volumes have grown and the line needs re-balancing, extra stations or automation without a long shutdown.

Manual checks letting defects through

Missing parts, wrong variants or incorrect torque reach the customer because checks depend on operators.

Relocating closer to the OEM

A plant or line must move near the customer with minimum disruption to supply.

FAQ

Automotive & Auto Components: common questions

Do you work with automotive OEMs or only suppliers?

Both. We work with OEM plants and with Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers. Most automotive scopes are fixtures, sub-assembly lines, SPMs and test equipment for component programmes.

Can you support our PPAP and run-at-rate?

Yes. Equipment is designed to deliver the capability and traceability evidence your customer asks for, and trials at FAT and SAT generate data that supports your PPAP submission and run-at-rate.

Do you design to our customer's equipment standards?

Yes. If your OEM customer specifies makes, safety standards, documentation formats or colour codes, we design and document to that specification.

Which automotive clusters do you serve?

We are based in Greater Noida and regularly serve the NCR automotive belt — Greater Noida, Noida, Gurugram-Manesar, Faridabad and Bawal-Neemrana-Bhiwadi — and execute projects in other clusters such as Pune, Chennai and Pantnagar.
