Manufacturing — fabrication, machining, assembly and panel build
The build stage converts a frozen design into a machine that runs. Structures are fabricated, tooling is machined and hardened, panels are built and wired, pneumatics are piped, and the whole system is assembled and run before it is allowed near your plant.

Fabrication, machining, assembly and panel build
A drawing is not a machine. Between them sit fit-up, weld distortion, machining tolerance, panel layout, cable routing, air preparation and a hundred assembly decisions that decide whether the equipment is maintainable in three years.
We control that stage against the released drawing rather than against memory: stage inspections at fabrication and machining, panel checkout before power-up, and a complete system run with your parts before anything is dispatched.

Fabrication
Cutting, forming, welding and stress relief where the duty needs it, machined mounting faces on structures that carry alignment, and finishing to the specification — powder coat, paint system or plating.

Machining
Turning, milling, grinding, hardening and surface treatment for the parts that set accuracy. Locators, nests and pressing tools are made from hardened, replaceable material so a worn contact face is a spare, not a rebuild.

Assembly
Building to the GA, aligning and shimming, setting guides and drives, mounting sensing, and dressing cables and hoses so that they survive motion and can be traced during maintenance.

Electrical Panels
Panel layout for heat and access, component selection from your approved makes, ferruled and labelled wiring, earthing and interlocks, and a continuity and insulation checkout before power-up.

Controls Wiring & Field Cabling
Cable routing and tray work, drag chains on moving axes, sensor and actuator terminations, labelling that matches the schematic, and segregation of power and signal so that noise does not become an intermittent fault.

Pneumatics & Hydraulics
FRL and air-preparation sizing, valve and cylinder selection, flow control for cycle time, cushioning to protect the tool, pressure switches where force matters, and hydro-pneumatic or hydraulic power packs where the force demands it.

Integration
The step most often left to the site: making the machine, its conveyor, its robot, its tester and its data all behave as one. Interfaces are engineered on paper first, then proven on our floor before dispatch.

Manufacturing: common questions
Do you manufacture in-house or subcontract?
Mecwerx takes single-point responsibility for the whole scope. We engineer, build, inspect, prove, install and commission under one contract, and we are the only party accountable to you for the result, the schedule and the warranty.
Can we witness the build?
Yes. Stage visits during build are welcome, and the FAT before dispatch is designed to be witnessed — the machine runs with your parts and you sign the cycle time and quality result before it leaves.
Will you use our approved makes?
Yes. Bought-out selection follows your approved-makes list for PLC, drives, pneumatics, sensing and electricals. Where a make on the list cannot meet the duty we tell you before ordering, not after.
What about spares after handover?
The handover pack includes a spares and wear-parts list with makes and part numbers, so your stores team can buy directly rather than depending on us for a consumable.
